Haaland, De Bruyne, Ederson – Man City injury news getting worse over International Break

Pep Guardiola will be under heavy pressure to face 2nd place Liverpool on the 25th if the injuries to key players such as Haaland and Ederson are as severe as they seem.

Haaland’s injury came recently in his friendly game against Fareo Islands. We do have an update on his injury from the team doctor.

Ola Sand said on Saturday morning: “The injury is not serious, but he is in so much pain and somewhat restricted function that the Scotland game unfortunately comes a little too early.”

Ederson’s injury came against the massive 4-4 draw against Chelsea F.C. on the weekend where he continued the game but was sent home early from Brazil duty. This injury, however didn’t seem too severe and hopes are high for him to return to City in one of the most crucial games of the early season.

De Bruyne’s injury came early into the season however, since he picked it up in the Champions league final against Inter Milan and he never recovered from it leaving him in a bad spot for getting into the team however, the team hasn’t had too much trouble without him.

Manchester City come into the game as favourites despite these possible injuries as Liverpool have some questionable results in the past few with one of them coming against Luton town.
